Reduced Parking Charges

Is Car Parking becoming fairer for everyone? The answer largely depends on who you are.

The proposals include, a maximum cap for parking fines, a 10-minute grace period before a late fine can be issued and a requirement for parking firms to clearly display pricing and terms and conditions.

My personal opinion is the proposals are fair although I understand for some Car Park Management Companies they may well struggle due to reduced revenue . Were all in business for the money but in years gone by - the very reason clamping cars became illegal for private companies, was due to unfair charges being given out for illegal parking.
